This Privacy Policy explains how Jadsa Studio (publishing as “Jadsa Games”; “we”, “us”) handles information related to the video game Know Your Ánima (the “Game”), distributed through Steam. The jadsa.net website is covered by our general privacy policy.
1. Information we collect
The Game does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Specifically:
- It does not require you to create an account, register or sign in with us.
- It contains no third-party analytics, telemetry, advertising or tracking tools.
- It does not use device identifiers or personalized advertising.
- It has no online features of its own, no chat and no user-generated content.
2. Data stored on your device
Your progress and settings (volume, language, subtitles, etc.) are saved locally on your computer. These files are never sent to our servers, and you can remove them at any time by deleting them or uninstalling the Game.
3. Steam and Valve
The Game is purchased, downloaded and launched through Steam, a service operated by Valve Corporation. Valve may process data such as your Steam account, purchases, playtime and, where available, features like achievements, Steam Cloud saves or Family Sharing. That information is handled by Valve under its own policy; we do not have access to your Steam personal data.
As developers, Steam only shows us aggregated, anonymous statistics (such as sales or player counts) that cannot identify you. See Valve’s Privacy Policy.
4. If you contact us
If you email us or reach out on social media or Discord (for example, for support or feedback), we receive the information you choose to share, such as your email address, username and the content of your message. We use it only to reply to you and keep it only as long as needed to handle your request. Those platforms are governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties. We would only disclose information if required to do so by law.
6. Children
The Game does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13 (or the minimum age that applies in your country). If you believe a child has sent us personal data by email, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA and similar laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. Because the Game collects no data, such requests usually only apply to messages you have sent us. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days. For data processed by Steam, please contact Valve.
8. Changes to this policy
If a Game update changes how information is handled (for example, by adding an online feature), we will update this page and the “Last updated” date before the change takes effect.
